Nest Update April 4, 2013 - Hatchwatch Day 26

Good Evening, Fellow Nestizens!

The day at the nest started cold and clear again. Almost makes you wish for a change in the weather. Wait, what am I saying?? I hope we have good weather right through to the hatch. Hear me, weather gremlins? Please? Good weather?? Thanks!

The morning and the rest of the day were calm and beautiful. Mom and Dad had a good time changing places and posing for the cam. BBC treated us to some more fantastic panning in the afternoon.

MNBound Eagles Afternoon Panning with Mom

Mom was steady for us in her closeups.

A Great Blue Heron was fishing in the pond.

Dad showed us the meaning of “spreadeagle”.

And then he showed us his biggest attack of OSD yet. Mom was not pleased and left in a huff. As she flew away she gave Dad a little what for and went on her way.

And Dad got his own closeup session near the end of the day.

MNBound Eagles Two Sweet Minutes

Bekka caught a great closeup of Dad.

Thanks to Mick989Razzle, Bekka and as always BBC for the great pics from today.

Thanks for stopping by and tell all your friends its only 9 days(or so) to Hatchtime!

Hope you had a great day on the nest and we will see you there tomorrow!
