Hello. Just wanted to provide an update on the HARMON song. Apologies for the delay but as song ideas are often wont to do these have evolved. The original lyrics felt a bit incomplete and I've since added another verse, bridge and modified closing chorus (with some lyrics inspired by viewer comments!). The plan is to go into a studio next weekend with a producer friend and record. I'm very happy and proud of it, am looking forward to sharing and am so very happy to see Harmon thriving thanks to a loving community of folks and patient, magnificent parents!

Hello all! A final update on the 'Harmon' song. The final mix is nearly complete; just awaiting harmony contributions from a friend and colleague which are expected this week. Please know that much of the process for this has been, unfortunately, on an as-available basis so your patience is greatly appreciated! What a beautiful song and your voice and music is the icing on the cake! I am crying just as hard as when all this happened. Thank you, everyone, for your appreciation! It was truly a labor of love! A (partly unintentionally and a bit embarrassing) funny story about my chosen MN Bound/Ustream Social Stream name, 'Harmonoid': First, I was quite lucky the name had not been taken already. I was initially just playing on the word 'humanoid' but as I was working on the song staying up late many nights tweaking a vocal here, perfecting a guitar solo or piano part there I found myself sitting on my ass a great deal of the time in doing so. I sit around at work a lot too due to the data entry nature of my job. (I think ya'll know where this is going!) Yes, partly as a result of working diligently with all my heart and soul on this special song for Harmon I developed what I, of course, lovingly refer to as "harmonoids'. Only for the love of a sweet little eagle would I suffer so and it was worth every 'ouch'! (Thankfully, I've since become free of the 'oids) I'm so very happy to see Harmon thrive, spread his not-so-little-anymore wings, and finish the process of freeing himself from the bonds of what could have been. He will live the life he was meant to thanks in great part to a species that took the opportunity to care enough to make a difference! Love wins again! Fly free, Harmon!
