Good Evening, Fellow Nestizens!
Anticipation is growing! Chatters, mods and lurkers are all waiting and hoping for the hatch to commence. Only eight more days until I think we’ll switch to Pipwatch! The nest will be hoppin’ then!
Well, I opened my big trap yesterday and sure enough the weather changed. The morning started overcast and cold with the threat of rain. It didn’t get warm enough for that. It sleeted and rained a bit and Mom sat through it on the nest. She gathered the grasses around and rode it out.
Dad started a new construction project and Mom pitched in to help. They moved grasses and sticks to new places. Maybe Mom has caught OSD??

It was a cold, wet and blustery day at the nest. Here’s hoping that it blows out of here tonight and we get back to good weather tomorrow!
