Good Evening, Fellow YawnSuppressors!!
Well, it seems we have hit the doldrums between the fast growth stage and the wingersizing and hopping stage. The nest today reminded me of a sign that hangs in a ghost town near me in Southern California. It reads “At this spot in 1894 nothing much happened”. Kind of what we had today on the nest. Harmony and Peace were so relaxed today that they didn’t sit up to eat. Mom and Dad delivered food as usual but the kids sorta lacked interest and at one feeding Peace didn’t even join in. Mom tried to perk them up with a cornstalk delivery but it was a no-go also. Harmony and Peace did try a little hopping practice but their little hearts just weren’t in it. Maybe they were disappointed Dad never got the turtle satellite dish to work and were sad about missing the Indy 500. Oh well, maybe tomorrow will be a more interesting day on the nest!
Some of the chatters were asking about donating to help keep the cam going and to help with improvements for next years cam. You're gonna swallow THAT?
As Memorial Day rolls around tomorrow I hope you will take time to remember all the people that have meant something to you in your lives and also all of the men and women that have served this country with bravery and valor to help keep America the best and strongest country in the world. May we never forget them.
Hope you all had a great Sunday on the nest and we’ll see you here tomorrow.
