Good Evening, Fellow BlackHoleWatchers!!
As you probably know from the previous blog entry and /or hanging out in the Social Stream today the cam was down all day. Sadness! The cam went down last night/this morning about 03:34:59 am due to the third thunderstorm to hit the nest area in a very short period of time. Power in the surrounding locale was affected and took parts of BBC’s network offline. BBC has spent the day on repair efforts to get their business back to 100% and will bring the cam back to us when they are able. We have not had any word of the condition of the nest but as we have chatters that live within a few miles of the nest I am sure we would have heard if any damage had occurred in the nest vicinity. But the bright side of the story is that the bad weather has moved on for the moment and reports are that the nest area and most of Minnesota got a day to dry out and bask in the sun. Hopefully the nice weather will hold for a spell and let the copious amounts of rain that have fallen drain out of the Mississippi watershed and head for the Gulf of Mexico. At least the drought conditions have been abated over most of the region for the time being. We will keep you up to date with any news we hear about the cam or the eagles here and in the social stream. Thank you for your patience as BBC works through this difficult time.
On to the pics and vids of the day!
Razzle had one more in the fire that didn’t make it to the blog last night. It’s a vid of Peace getting her dinner after her excursion up to Dad’s patio.

And a selection of pics for the day.
Hope you had a bright, sunny Sunday in spite of the eagle withdrawals we all were suffering. We hope BBC can solve all of their problems and get us back online tomorrow. We’ll have to wait and see.
See you in SS tomorrow!
